Can you solve the Murder!!
THE Commission decided to hold their Conference at the remote and secret location of the Hartess House in Springfield, VT instead of Atlantic City.
It's 1927, and the mob scene is thriving in major cities across the United States. Rum-running, loan sharking, protection rackets, speakeasies, and gaming halls are all flourishing. To achieve supremacy as a unified crime faction, crime bosses from Atlantic City, New York City, and Chicago have decided to establish The Commission during a gathering known as the Atlantic City Conference. This governing body will oversee all mob organizations in the country.
Opinions vary on how The Commission should be run and who should be the boss of all bosses. Some high-ranking officials are strongly opposed to the idea, leading to preemptive hostility. Nonetheless, the crime bosses have agreed to conduct themselves with integrity at the conference, enforcing an unbreakable truce.
Nuggy Jones from Atlantic City has agreed to host the conference at his residence and place of business, the Karlton Ritz Hotel on the Boardwalk.
Mobsters from the biggest families will soon arrive in Atlantic City. (The HARTNESS HOUSE)

The Hartness House blends cozy comforts with the eccentric spirit of its owner, the inventor James Hartness.
James Hartness was the owner of the original Hartness estate and the source of its many eccentricities.
Most famously, Hartness commissioned a series of underground tunnels below our cozy mansion. These tunnels were conceived of as a massive private office for Hartness' work. They now provide underground access to the equatorial turret telescope that James Hartness designed and built into the front lawn. The tunnels also house the Hartness-Porter Museum of Amateur Telescope Making - and, rumor has it, the occasional ghost.
