Welcome to the Walnut Grove Farm-The 1775 Farmhouse
Our overall goal of the farmhouse is to bring it back to life. These historical properties are normally torn down and the land developed. All the character, history and charm lost forever. We have come together to not only save the farmhouse and property, but to bring it back to life. A place the public will be able to enjoy.
*House does not have running water or a bathroom at this time*
A clean portable potty will be delivered for the evening.
House has limited heat. A pellet stove is functioning in the kitchen and a space heater is available for each of the bedrooms. If they are needed.
The house is under restoration and has uneven floors, nails, loose sheetrock and some areas are exposed horse hair plaster.
The house is dusty and cannot be fully washed and cleaned without water. The window's are original and have not been painted as of yet, they may have been done with lead paint and being the age of the house understand that you are investigating at your own risk.

History
The Walnut Grove Farmhouse~The 1775 Farmhouse is an original house that dates back into the mid 1700’s.
The spirits of the house are welcoming. The property is surrounded by an amazing amount of history.
History is currently being researched as many guests like to have validation while investigating and visiting the farm.
We will provide the history upon request, this way it will be an exciting opportunity to explore and use your own abilities and insight.
We will love to hear your experiences and help validate for you and for ourselves!
Property is surrounded by beautiful fields and stonewalls.
There was a sawmill and blacksmith shop on the property when it was first settled. Although the structure is no longer standing, there is remnants and activity on the land.
The large barn are available to explore.
The farmhouse is quite spacious with a large living room and den downstairs along with kitchen, bathroom and small quaint dining room on the first floor.
There are 2 large private bedrooms on the second floor, 2 small private bedrooms, along with a common rustic old original area that guests can also enjoy. We will have a sitting area and extra open bedroom.
There is also a very large attic that has an open concept area with a Queen bed and sitting area set up on each end of the Attic.
Pitch a Tent!
Guests can also set up a camping tent on the property if desired.
