Welcome to the Walnut Grove Farm-The 1775 Farmhouse
Our overall goal of the farmhouse is to bring it back to life. These historical properties are normally torn down and the land developed. All the character, history and charm lost forever. We have come together to not only save the farmhouse and property, but to bring it back to life. A place the public will be able to enjoy.
Our overall goal is to have the farm be along the lines of a mini–Sturbridge Village, rich in culture and history but also valuing the spirits that still reside there. After all, they are the settlers of the property.
The house consists of a kitchen, one-bathroom, small sitting room, 2 large main rooms on first floor.
Second floor consists of 2 Large Private Bedrooms that will be set up with a Queen Bed and Twin Bed in each of the private rooms.
An open post and beam common area set up with a sitting area and Queen Bed, 2 small private bedrooms with a Queen bed.
Access to the attic with is quite large and will also have two Queen Bed areas set up for guests.
The house can sleep easily 14-20 guests. Based on guests in bedrooms, common areas and bunking if they choose.
Along with Guests who may wish to pitch a tent on the property in the warmer months.
